Emerging artist, Kupid aka Q, has been performing since he was 16 years old as a dancer. While he was with a dance group, he would perform at Caribbean pageants, events and different venues. His performances picked up even more when he joined the group, Crossovah, which was a boy band that was trying to bridging the gap between mainstream and Caribbean. He did that for 7 years which led him to the stage as a recording artist, and not just a dance performer. The type of music that he’s bringing to the industry can appeal to almost anyone. He is much more than just another artists hitting the stage with an island hip hop flow, he has a powerful combination of Hip Hop, Island Pop, Reggae and R&B. He would listen to a lot of Dancehall music from artists that he looked up to. His father would play Caribbean music all week long. Musical influences include Red Rat, Vybez Kartel and Lil Rick. He listens to a variety of music, with some of his favorites being Blink 182, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida and Bruno Mars to name a few.
