Sampha has made a quiet, albeit confident return in the last few weeks. He was one of few non-Frank voices on Endless, linking with Kanye West for the late-addition The Life Of Pablo cut “Saint Pablo” before that. His emotional surprise single “Timmy’s Prayer” offered a taste of what we could expect in the next chapter, followed by this week’s announcement of his debut album Process with the release of the new single “Blood On Me.”

Last night Sampha let us know it was real with a performance of the new cut on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, lining up with bad in tow to blaze through the track and reintroduce himself to us statesiders. Watch Sampha make his solo late-night debut on The Late Show down below and pick up your copy of “Blood On Me” on iTunes today. Hold tight for his next transmission, arriving this weekend when he joins Pharrell and Scott Vener on OTHERtone Radio to discuss his new album and all that went in to it. Tune in on Beats 1 Radio tomorrow, September 3rd, at 3PM for the full script.
