Alicia Keys had New York City going nuts on Sunday night with a surprise concert in Times Square, and attendees were treated with special guests Jay Z, John Mayer and Nas.

Keys posted rehearsal videos on her Twitter page on Saturday, without revealing the location of the concert. But Sunday’s show had Times Square packed to the brim, with people crowding the sidewalks to get a peak at the show and see video images flashing on the screen.

The multiple Grammy-winner was building anticipation for her upcoming album Here, which is executive produced by husband Swizz Beatz and slated for a November 4 release. But she brought multiple guests on stage Sunday night.

Jay Z came out to join Keys for “Empire State of Mind,” their chart-topping ode to their hometown of New York City. John Mayer sang a verse on Keys’ song “If I Ain’t Got You,” and Nas performed the Illmatic classic “One Love.”

If there were any thoughts that Alicia Keys had lost her star power, Sunday proved that she’s still got it. Watch clips of performances from the show below.
