It was on The Tonight Show that FKA twigs made her late-night debut, inviting stateside viewers into her audiovisual bomb of a stage show. And so, it’s only right that within a week of releasing a lovely new cut that it’s visualized live and direct in the studio 8H. twigs took the stage with three-piece band to perform the psyche-pop leaning single “Good To Love,” illuminated by white lights and punctuated, of course, by a choreography routine that fell somewhere between voguing and striking tai-chi poses in a Chinatown park. It’s a sight to see and a sound to hear, no doubt, and the perfect warm-up for what we imagine will be another fruitful year for twigs.
Watch FKA twigs’ stunning return to The Tonight Show below and if you’re looking to see the vogue specialist in-the-flesh in the months ahead, you can catch her at Pitchfork Festival in Chicago on July 15th or the following week in Oro, Ontario for the WayHome Music & Arts Festival on July 22nd. Her debut EP1 will be reissued on April 8th, which will make it available on vinyl for the first time since its 2012 release. Pre-order your copy today via Fat Beats.
